"Beautiful Horses of Indiana "

A series of paintings by Karen Brenner

Equine artist Karen Brenner is seeking nominations for her newest series of paintings, "Beautiful Horses of Indiana." If you have - or know of - beautiful horses who live in Indiana, you are invited to submint a nomination for your favorite.

Deadline for nominations is March 30, 2010.

Karen paints exclusively from photos she personally takes. She will travel throughout Indiana in mid- to late June 2010 to photograph selected horses. Horses will need to be available that week for photos.

Karen hopes to include a wide variety of breeds and colors in the project. Along with breed, selection of which horses to include will be based on the description you provide on the nomination form.

The "Beautiful Horses of Indiana " series will include a painting of each selected horse. As each painting is completed it will be posted in a special section of this website. A "Beautiful Horses of Indian " exhibit will showcase all the paintings. The artist retains ownership of the paintings.

This will be the fifth in Karen's "Beautiful Horses" series. Here are links to the first four series: Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Texas.
