This is my newest painting featuring Andalusian stallion, Coraje, from Mary Claey’s Bridled Passion Farm.
It was such a privilege getting to meet USDF GOLD Medalist Mary Claeys. Her farm is filled with top quality Andalusians – stallions, mares and lots of foals! When she brought Coraje out for me to photography I was thrilled! What an amazing, powerful stallion!
Of course, within minutes of being set free for the photo session, Coraje had to roll! Which is when I captured the photo this painting is based on. With the amazing early morning light, it seemed perfect for my Horse Ballet series with a “Sleeping Beauty” theme!
