Horse Ballet – Wouton Warm Tones

This second painting featuring Friesian gelding, Wouton, was inspired by the colors of my ornamental Black Lace elderberry bush. The maroon-black leaves and peachy pink blossoms with a tint of pale orange sherbet are so beautiful every spring. And Wouton was the perfect horse to embody this color scheme.

Compare this painting with the cool tones of the first Horse Ballet – Wouton painting. They are so different! Which do you like best?
